Velocity Build AI builds custom software, websites, and AI solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. You bring the problem you want gone. We build with these tools every day and stay current with what they can do now, which is well past where they were a year ago. Working software in weeks instead of quarters, and you own the code.
Come with whatever you have. A process you want automated, a bottleneck you want gone, sometimes a build you have already worked out in your head. That is what we build against, and the first hour goes on how the work actually runs: what gets typed twice, what waits on one person, what breaks when you are busy.
Our half is the tools. We build with them every day, and the ceiling keeps moving: things that were out of reach or out of budget a year ago often are not now. There is also a plain economic reason these projects tend to grow. Once your data is actually moving through a system, the second and third piece cost a fraction of what the first one did.
What happens with that is your call. Take the bigger version, or build exactly what you asked for and leave the rest for later. We will put the cost and the return next to each one so you can pick.
Every business is different. The answers tend to land in four places.

ExamplesYour CRM, your inventory, your accounting, and your website finally talk to each other.
ExamplesAI handles the quoting, the routing, the summarizing, and the drafting that used to eat your afternoon.
ExamplesWe build the site your customers buy from and the portal they log into after, designed to sell and not just to look good.
ExamplesThis is where we decide which conversations to take, so it is worth more than a line. We read every submission that comes in. The more you tell us about the business, what is not working, and what you want out of it, the more useful the hour that follows. Short is fine. Empty tells us nothing.
Not a requirements meeting. What you do, what is slow, what it costs you, and what you would change if nothing were in the way.
Exactly what you came for, priced. Plus whatever the same foundation makes cheap to add, laid out so you can pick. Then a working demo and a real number, three days later. Not a slide deck.
You use it, you tell us what is wrong, we change it.
We ship in weeks, not quarters, and you own the code.
The State Champion came to us thinking AI might be able to help their business somehow, without specifics about where exactly it would fit. Just that there was potential.
Where it landed was the most expensive part of their operation: working out who actually won, which used to mean days of manual work chasing down results and reading score sheets by hand. We built a custom data pipeline where AI runs the whole thing end to end, finding the meets, pulling the scores out of whatever format they arrive in, and settling the results with nobody in the loop. What used to take days of manual labor now is done in under an hour all by AI. With the storefront, the checkout, the shipping, and the admin system on top of it, roughly 70 to 80 percent of the human work in that business is gone.

Car dealers list inventory on Facebook Marketplace by hand, one vehicle at a time, every single day. Posting every car, updating every price, and pulling down every sold unit is a full-time job nobody has time for, and at a large store, keeping the whole lot current by hand simply is not possible. This posts the whole lot automatically, keeps every listing current, and takes down what sells.
A public site and product catalog for an industrial equipment company, with the inquiry flow that feeds their sales team.
A vacation rental was handing a cut of every booking to the big platforms, so we built it a place to sell direct. Guests choose their dates and pay on the property’s own site, the calendar syncs both ways with Airbnb so the same week can never be sold twice, and rates, blocks, and reservations all run from one owner portal.
Not everything needs rebuilding. Sometimes the system is fine and it is just slow, and slow costs more than it looks. You are paying people to sit and wait on a screen, and when everyone is running behind, the thing that quietly gets dropped is the follow-up that would have made you money. We go deep into what is actually causing the drag, down to the queries and the code paths, and take it out. You get the payroll hours back and the work stops falling through.
An early-stage venture needed to prove its idea against real data rather than a sample, so we built both halves: the working product demo the team could put in front of people, and the large-scale data pipeline underneath it, now carrying more than 160,000 records. The hard part is never getting records. It is pulling up-to-date ones at a cost that actually makes sense at scale, which is where projects like this usually stall out. Driving that per-record cost down is its own engineering problem, and it is one we work on directly. On the first full batch we ran end to end, about a thousand records, the AI enrichment stage came back about 90 percent accurate at roughly six cents a record.
Tell us about the business and what you want out of it. Answer what you can. Every one of these gets read.
I’m Dowdy Sarvis, founder of Velocity Build AI, and I am an AI obsessive. I have spent more time building with AI than probably anyone you’ll meet, across automation, e-commerce, and large-scale data.
I came to software from marketing and car sales, and I learned this work by doing it: building with small businesses I had connections to and making sizeable impacts quickly. That is where I learned what these builds usually come down to. Fewer steps, less re-typing, and a system that matches how the work really happens. It is also why the first conversation matters more than any specification. You already know your business cold. I want to show you how far the tools can take it.
